April 15, 2011 The founding fathers are dead 200 years already! The 236 year old U.S. government model is dragging us down. We need a new group of leaders to direct us to a system of government that can last for the next 200 years. What has to be explored: - Federal versus State power? - Domestic versus international power? - Small versus big government? - Senate versus house of representatives versus executive branch versus the juducial? - $1 billion election budgets versus K Street lobbying Great leaders will show us what can be done. What will these new 21st century architects of democracy be called: - Mending Mothers? - Modern Masters? - Founding Fathers Two? - Fabulous Fixers? - Federal Fixers? - The Tea Party? - Tea Party 2.0? - more ideas welcome??? (Wasted thought process until the revitialization team appears.) April 14, 2011 What's wrong with this math: 60 senators represent 90% of the voters in the U.S. 40 senators represent 10% of the voters in the U.S. The founding fathers are dead 200 years already! April 14, 2011 The "do well, do good, flat tax": - companies and individuals pay 25% flat tax - no deductions - anybody earning over $1 million (doing well) has to contribute another 25% to charities of their choice (doing good). Government can get out of charity business. April 9, 2011 Denver Post: President Barack Obama hailed the deal as "the biggest annual spending cut in history." Go ahead, take credit - 6 months late and kicking and screaming all the way. Don't you politicians think the American people can do math. $37.8 Billion is less than 2 weeks of U.S. government's annual $1.4 Trillion excess spending. 6 months to save 2 weeks. You do the math. April 8, 2011 Man up! You dodged the October budget deadline to avoid a rout in November elections. Spend $3.6T, collect $2.2T - no-brainer bad. No budget, no management, "You're Fired". April 5, 2011 Clever strategy to buy next election. Raise $1b from 22.5 million government union employees. I'd pay $2,500 to work half as hard and collect twice as much. Bonus: I could dish out attitude. Better strategy: Raise money from Venezuela, Nigeria, Middle East (probably hard to get money from Iran). They now collect $75 Billion more oil revenue per year from U.S. due to Libya procrastination. April 4, 2011 Nice speech but you let Libyans down in less than week. You can talk the talk. How many years does the U.S. tax payer have to foot your walking lessons. March 28, 2011 Nice Speech. March 18, 2011
